About Kemi
Kemi for the Family was created to fill a gap — families are often supported in crisis or referral systems, but rarely given accessible, structured spaces to build connection and regulation together in everyday life.
THE FOUNDER
Jennifer Lawrence
Founder, Kemi for the Family
Jennifer Lawrence brings professional experience in mental health coordination, applied behavior analysis, ADHD coaching, and education systems. She works at the intersection of family systems, emotional regulation, and environmental influence on behavior.
Working in clinical and therapeutic environments supporting neurodiverse individuals and families, and coordinating mental health services across school districts, Jennifer recognized a critical gap: families needed structured, accessible spaces to build connection — not just crisis intervention.
Her approach is grounded, practical, and experience-based, focusing on real family dynamics rather than theory alone. Kemi for the Family was created in direct response to what Jennifer witnessed every day — families with the desire to connect but without the structure to do so.

Environment shapes behavior and communication
We believe that families thrive when given the right conditions — not lectures, not programs built for them, but experiences built with them. When the environment supports connection, families naturally find their way back to each other. Small moments of intentionality create lasting change.
